🚨 Facility Closure Notice 🚨

Due to an unexpected issue affecting our ice surface, Sertich Ice Center is closed for the remainder of today, July 28th, and all skating sessions have been canceled.

The safety of our skaters, staff, and guests is our top priority. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve the issue.

Ever wondered what an ice rink looks like without the ice?

Here's a behind-the-scenes look at Sertich Ice Center during our current maintenance shutdown. In addition to our annual maintenance work, we're also completing an Ice Out project, a larger undertaking that typically only happens every 3 - 5 years.

The facility is currently closed and is planned to reopen with normal operations on Monday, July 13.

Thank you for your patience while we complete these important improvements behind the scenes. We can't wait to welcome everyone back to the ice in a few weeks!

Heads up! Sertich Ice Center & Skate in the Park at Acacia Park are closed today due to the snow! We plan to reopen tomorrow, January 10th!

Just a heads up, access to our facility will be impacted this Saturday due to the Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial, and the park entrance off of Pikes Peak Ave. will be restricted.

On Saturday, please use the entrance off of Union Blvd (by the Velodrome) to access Sertich Ice Center.

Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial - IAFF Located in the shadow of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, the Memorial honors the sacrifice made by IAFF members who have given their lives in the line of duty.

Come to Sertich Ice Center on Friday, September 26, from 7 - 9 pm to watch the City of Colorado Springs First Responders face off against HBA Cares in a charity hockey game event sponsored by Builders FirstSource!

Admission is $15, and children 12 & under are only $5!
