It's not every day you come across a US WWII-era depth charge. Unlike the usual depth charges that roll off the side of ships, this MK9 Mod 2 was designed to be fired off a ship into the water.
Even in its inert state, that's 120 lbs of steel!
What would one do with an inert depth charge?
This one will wind up as a nice side table in the lobby of the great folks up at Apex Gun Parts. Thanks for the opportunity to handle this behemoth!

This German WWI Gewehr 98 Ma**er was assembled using only a barreled action and spare parts. The scope is original but was heavily rusted and pitted, so it was painted to prevent further deterioration. Additionally, it is fitted with an ERMA K98k .22 LR Conversion Kit. Isn't it impressive what can be achieved with spare parts?

Did you know one of the most common issues with the German MP-40 was the charging handle coming loose? Here we have a good example of a field repair. It appears that this MP40 bolt has the charging handle of a PPSh-41. Was this a Russian who captured it on the Eastern Front and modified it using what he had lying around? If only surplus could talk.
