Universal Kempo Karate East Central Branch

September Calendar!!
We are back to FULL UNIFORM this month. Bring your Kempo gi tops to class, and make sure all your patches are on. We can still wear our red t-shirts if it's hot out. But don't worry you can wear your colored t-shirts during t-shirt weeks, and this months' is 9/14-9/19.

East Central Branch will be closed Friday, 9/4, through Monday, 9/7, for Labor Day weekend. Classes resume Tuesday, 9/8.

Junior Advanced Training is Friday, 9/11 at 6:15pm for Jr Green Belts and above.

Adult Advanced Training will be on Friday, 9/18 at 6:15pm. Adult Green Belts and above.

Buddy Week will be 9/21-9/26. Bring a friend to try karate class and earn some Karate Bucks.

Jr Black Belts! You have Jr Black Belt Testing/Pretesting next month on Friday, 10/2, and Saturday, 10/3.

Today is the fifth Colorado Karate Association tournament of the season. This tournament is being held at the Adams County Fairgrounds in Brighton, Colorado. Doors open at 8:00am and the competition starts at 8:30am. Students are welcome to come spectate and cheer on our competitors. 🏆🥇🎗🥋👊

**REMINDER!** Belt Testing is this Saturday, 8/29/26! Testing begins at 10:30am, please be early. 🥋
Regular class will be rescheduled for 9:00am.
Don't forget about your Written Exams.
Your FULL UNIFORM is required for Testing, have your red t-shirt, gi top, and belt. Boys and men, you need to also wear your protective cup.
Bring a water bottle and snack. And we'll see you Saturday! Be ready!

Can't wait to see our Kempo Ohana for a day of yummy food and fun!

This week, August 17th-22nd, is Buddy Week! Bring a friend to try karate classes, and get to train with your buddy this Monday through Saturday!
Please grab a Buddy Week form for your buddy's parent/guardian to sign so your buddy can train with you.
You'll get karate bucks for every buddy you bring. 💸See you this week!
