Mitch certified Divemaster Rex in Avelo today.

Divemaster Britney dove in her normal dive set-up today leading a dive. She mentioned how much heavier her gear was today walking up the hill out of the water from yesterday in the Avelo set-up. 20lb difference. She cannot wait to see how much easier it will be to climb a dive ladder in Avelo.
Look for guided dives with Britney coming soon.

Congratulations to Britney Lee Donivan for becoming certified in Avelo diving. If you see her at Lake Phoenix tomorrow, she will be diving it again. She loves that it is much lighter that her normal gear setup. We still have plenty of dates available if you are intetested in taking the Avelo class. Mitch will be training Rex tomorrow afternoon. If you want to check out the Avelo System stop by our Pavillion tomorrow or our shop next week.

DIVE CLUB MEETING REMINDER: TOPIC BRING YOUR GEAR TO A DIVE SITE OR ON A BOAT-TIPS AND TRICKS.

Our monthly Dive Club meeting starts up after our summer break next week on Wednesday September 16th at Dante's Colonial Heights. Social time starts at 6:30 and meeting runs from 7pm-8pm. You can attend via zoom if you cannot make it to our meeting; however, if you can attend in person it might be easier for you to see since we are bringing gear in.

What do you really need to bring and how you should carry it based on space. We will be bringing in our personal gear and setups for local diving and trips with shore diving or boat diving. We welcome all of your tips and tricks at the meeting since we all learn from each other. Thanks and I hope you can make it, as we start off our fall season, we still have plenty of diving left in the season.

An in person raffle will be held at the meeting! Good luck to attendees!
