What is your why?
It's a question that can change the way you see your life.
Your mission and purpose aren't always discovered in one big moment. Often, they begin to take shape when you pay attention to the things that burn within you - the gifts you've been given, the passions that bring you to life, and the calling that keeps pulling you forward.
So take a moment today and ask yourself:
What would I be drawn to do if money weren't the deciding factor? What is it that truly brings me to life?
Your answers may reveal more about your mission than you realize.
Watch this Minute with Mike and spend time discovering your why.

Stay curious. Stay teachable. Keep Growing.
The Dunning - Kruger Effect reminds us that our confidence and competence don't always grow at the same pace.
Sometimes, knowing a little can make us feel like we know a lot. But as we continue to learn and grow, we begin to see just how much more there is to understand.
There is strength in being confident enough to act - and humble enough to keep learning.
Life Rekindled Challenge:
Think about an area of your life where you want to grow. Instead of assuming you already have all the answers, ask yourself: "What might I still have to learn?"

We all measure progress in some way. Numbers, goals, milestones, achievements - they can help us see how we're doing.
But Goodhart's Law reminds us that when a measure becomes the goal, we can lose sight of what really matters.
It's easy to become so focused on hitting the target that we forget why we chose it in the first place.
Life Rekindled Challenge: Take a moment to look at one goal you're currently working toward. Ask yourself:
Am I chasing the right target - or have I become more focused on the measurement than the purpose behind it?
Sometimes real progress begins when we stop chasing the number and refocus on what truly matters.

43 years ago today Debbie and I said “yes” and began together the amazing journey called life. Moves, kids, grandkids, changes, blessings, and challenges. The two constants - God’s faithful love and our love & support for one another.
How important is your health? For there to be change you have to get outside your comfort zone.

Have you ever been so overwhelmed by your options that you ended up doing nothing?
We've all been there. Should I start this project or that one? Read this book or that book? Take the course, change careers, start the conversation, wait for the perfect time...
Sometimes it's not a lack of motivation that keeps us stuck. It's having too many choices.
Hick's Law teaches us that the more options we have, the harder it can be to make a decision. When everything feels important, it's easy to become overwhelmed - stay exactly where we are.
Clarity creates confidence. Simplicity creates action.
You don't have to solve your entire future today. Often the most important thing you can do is take the next faithful step.
Life Rekindled Challenge: Choose one decision you've been putting off. Don't overthink it. Seek wise counsel if needed, and make the best decision you can - and take that first step.
Progress begins with movement.
What's one decision you've been delaying that you're ready to make this week?

Have you ever felt stretched by a new responsibility?
Maybe you stepped into a leadership role, became a parent, started a new job, or simply found yourself in a season that demanded more than the last.
That feeling doesn't mean you're failing. It often means you're growing.
The Peter Principle reminds us that every new level of responsibility requires new skills, new wisdom, and a willingness to keep learning.
The goal isn't to stay where we're comfortable. The goal is to continue growing so we're prepared for where we're being called next.
Growth doesn't stop when you experience success. In many ways, that's when it becomes more important.
Life Rekindled Challenge: This week, identify one area where you've been relying on yesterday's knowledge.
Choose one way to grow - read a chapter of a book, ask a trusted mentor a question, or learn a new skill that will help you lead, serve, or live more effectively.
What is one area of your life where you're intentionally choosing to keep growing? Tell us in the comments!

If you could improve just one area of your life this week... what would it be?
We're often tempted to believe that making progress means doing more.
More commitments.
More goals.
More tasks.
But what if real growth comes from focusing on what matters most?
The Pareto Principle, often called the 80/20 Rule, suggests that a small number of actions often produce the greatest results. The same is true in every day life.
A few intentional conversations can strengthen a marriage.
A few consistent habits can improve your health.
A few moments spent investing in your faith can reshape your perspective.
The goal isn't to do everything. It's to do the right things consistently. Small, intentional choices create life's biggest results.
Life Rekindled Challenge: This week, identify one habit that will help make the biggest difference in your life - and commit to it every day.
Don't try to change everything. Start with what matters most.
What's one small habit that's made a big difference in your life? Share it below - you may encourage someone to take their first step.
