What a great weekend at the Cowtown Classic!
With over 900 competitors, it was an incredible event filled with great competition, teamwork, and ATA spirit. It was wonderful to see everyone doing their part and working together to help the tournament run smoothly.

Every ATA belt represents another stage in a martial artist's journeyand Red Belt marks an exciting milestone.

RED BELT — A MAJOR PHASE OF GROWTH

The Red Belt symbolizes:

“The sun is setting. The first phase of growth has been accomplished.”

By the time a student reaches Red Belt, they have already traveled a long road. They've developed stronger technique, greater discipline, perseverance, and a deeper understanding of what it means to be a martial artist.

But the journey isn't over. Red Belt is also a reminder that Black Belt is getting closer and now is the time to stay focused.

Be proud of how far you've come, keep working on the details, and remember that every class brings you one step closer to your next goal.

Red Belts, keep pushing forward. Your hard work is showing!

As students progress through ATA, each belt represents another stage in their growth, not only in martial arts skills, but also in confidence, discipline, and perseverance.

BROWN BELT — FIRMLY ROOTED

The Brown Belt symbolizes:

“The tree is firmly rooted in the earth.”

By the time a student reaches Brown Belt, the foundation they've worked so hard to build is becoming strong and established. Their techniques are more developed, their understanding is deeper, and they're learning to trust the skills they've gained through consistent training.

Just like a tree with strong roots, Brown Belts are preparing for the challenges and growth still ahead.

Keep practicing.
Keep strengthening your foundation.
Keep growing.
