Congratulations to these two young ladies who competed in Cincinnati this morning in the MLB Pitch Hit and Run contest!

Sawyer Phillips won in her age group of 9-10 yr old to advance and currently ranks 3rd nationwide.

Cami Castle placed 2nd in a very competitive age group as well.

This was both girls second year advancing in the &Run contest.

These boys have battled a delay in play due to fires in Canada, rain, and the heat. They have showed up to play and are excited to play at the state level. They play tomorrow at 2:00. Good luck boys! We’re proud of you!

Coeburn Little League along with Warrior Little League had the pleasure of hosting the 2026 Virginia State Senior League Baseball tournament over the last several days. We battled 15+ hour days, rain, heat, and exhaustion but it was all worth it to give these young men the opportunity to play baseball. Today Abingdon Little League faced Fleet Park Little League in the championship, and Fleet Park came out the champions! Congratulations to both teams for making it that far.

We would like to thank everyone for their help whether it was field crew workers that kept the games going with rainy conditions, press box workers keeping the games flowing, concessions workers that kept everyone fed, and everyone in between.

We would also like to thank Coach Chris Clay and his coaching staff for allowing us to host this tournament at Tracy Stallard Field Alumni Stadium with using the field and their facilities.

A big thank you to the umpires that showed up early everyday and left late many days. These men are strictly volunteer and give their time to show up, and we are thankful for them!
