We’d like to introduce the newest Shidoshi in our dojo!

Shidoshi McGruer is the embodiment of what it means to have a true Budo heart. Despite many obstacles, including past health challenges, he has continued to persevere, remain dedicated, and show up with unwavering determination.

This past month, at the Shiraishi Taikai in Seattle, he successfully passed his Sakki test — a tremendous accomplishment and a moment we are beyond overjoyed and proud to celebrate with him.

Congratulations, Shidoshi McGruer! Your perseverance and dedication are an inspiration to us all. Gambatte kudasai!

Congratulations to the newest Godan “5th Dan” at our dojo - Aaron Mcgruer. Shidoshi Aaron has been training relentlessly for ten years with us and just passed his Sakki test at the Shiraishi Taikai in Seattle this month. Gambatte kudasai!

Big shout out and thank you to Daniel Lopez for his amazing craftsmanship. His suede tabi are not only beautiful but durable and very comfortable. Literally they feel like gloves for your feet! He was so helpful through the whole process. Im very grateful and so excited to train in them tonight! Shiraishi Taikai Seattle Washington was an incredible event. We were fortunate to have many of our students attend with us which made it even more special. Shiraishi Sensei’s Taijutsu was so amazing to watch. He made it look “so easy” yet his footwork and soft touch was difficult for most of us to grasp. It is something that we will all be working on for a long time. Sensei and his team really took the time to go around to each and every one of the attendees to help us understand the feeling and help guide us through each techniques. Throughout the entire event Sensei had a joyful smile on his face that was contagious which truly made this event an enjoyable experience.

Congratulations Matt on your uour promotion to 8th kyu. Your dedication to training with all you have going on with your busy work schedule and home life is inspirational. Keep going! Gambatte kudasai!

These Ninja kids are getting better and better every day! They are showing up and challenging themselves in every class. We are so proud of each and every one of them! Gambatte kudasai! Keep going. Do your best!!!
