One of the biggest things we want our athletes to understand as summer comes to an end is this…

You worked way too hard this summer to just give it all back.

We’ve watched athletes spend the last few months getting stronger, jumping higher, moving faster and becoming more confident in their bodies.

But those qualities don’t just stick around forever because you built them once.

When school starts and practices and games pick back up, it’s really easy for training to be the first thing that gets dropped.

And we get it — schedules get BUSY.

But completely stopping your strength and performance training can eventually mean losing some of what you spent the entire summer building.

That doesn’t mean you need to train 4–5 days a week during your season.

It means the training needs to change.

For our athletes going into season, we can adjust their programs, reduce overall volume and focus on maintaining their strength, speed, power and movement while working around practices and games.

Even getting in 1–2 quality sessions each week can help keep those qualities trained.

And if your season is still a few months away?

Keep going.

School starting doesn’t have to mean your off-season is over. You still have a huge opportunity to continue getting stronger, faster and more prepared for when your season actually arrives.

You put in the work this summer.

Let’s make sure that work carries over to when it actually matters.

Parents — if you’re not sure what training should look like once your athlete’s school or sports schedule changes, reach out to us.

Send us a DM with “FALL” and we’ll help you figure out a plan that makes sense for your athlete.

Let’s finish August strong. 👊

The numbers don’t lie. Performance is improving here at Bullett Performance Training.

Over the summer, we’ve seen some incredible improvements in our athletes on the Proteus Motion system:

Average Power Increase: 23%
Highest Power Increase: 44%

Average Acceleration Increase: 17%
Highest Acceleration Increase: 35%

But what do these numbers actually mean?

🏋️‍♀️POWER is your ability to produce force quickly. It’s what helps you:

Jump higher for rebounds.🏀
Hit harder.🏐
Throw faster.⚾️
Explode through contact.🏈
Strike the ball with more force.⚽️

With this, more power means you’re able to express your strength faster when the game demands it.

🏃‍♂️‍➡️ACCELERATION is your ability to reach top speed in your first few steps.

This is the quality that separates athletes when:

Chasing down a loose ball.✅
Beating a defender.✅
Exploding out of a cut.✅
Closing space on defense.✅
Getting to the ball first.✅

In nearly every sport, the athlete who wins the first 5–10 yards often wins the play.

At Bullett Performance, we don’t train just to work hard, we train with purpose. Every exercise, every progression, and every phase is designed to help improve the qualities that actually transfer over to your sport.

Because getting stronger is great, but getting stronger in a way that makes you a better athlete is the end goal.

Want to learn more about how we can improve YOUR sports performance? Give us a call, text, or send us an email and we can help you reach your full potential!💪✨
