Here are the classes and rules for Plates & 28’s:

PLATES & 28’s
Class description - Plates & 28’s is intended for Street Raced RWD cars and trucks. (Typical street raced vehicles) that are legally registered with current tags and PROOF of registration and insurance. Dealer tags and all forms of temporary tags are STRICTLY prohibited. These cars and trucks may be back halved, with tubular front K members. But must retain all stock front suspension mounting points, and retain their original wheelbase. All entries must retain all OEM looking sheet metal and OEM roof and ¼ panels. Full Tube chassis are prohibited. Entries to the class deemed by the tech inspector to be outside the spirit of the class will be given a refund.
· Must have functional head lights, tail lights, & brake lights.
· Must have a functional charging system with working alternator.
· Must have a functional cooling system. Rear mounted radiators are legal.
· Maximum tire size for all entries is 28/10.5 Non W or 275/60/15 radials
· Entries must retain front sheet metal including the grille, front bumper cover, fenders and hood.
· Must have stock firewall in stock location
· Entries must retain stock floor pans from the firewall to the rear frame rails. Stock frame rails must be functional and intact from the driver’s seat area to the stock firewall.
· Billet Cylinder Heads, Blocks, and Intakes are prohibited.
· Engines blocks must be of standard bore space and cast in aluminum or cast iron.
· Entries must retain stock appearing front windshields and rear glass. Optic Armor or OEM replacement only.
RETRO STREET
Retro Street is intended for Street Legal RWD cars and trucks based off of Plates and 28’s but with a mandatory cruise and a few restrictions.
· M**hanol and Nitro M**hane STICTLY prohibited.
· Mandatory Cruise. DQ for any entry that requires being towed.
· Must have full interior including stock dash, and door panels, functional turn signals, and brake lights.
· Fender exit exhaust permitted. N/A, Nitrous, or Supercharged cars MUST have mufflers. Turbos will be counted as mufflers.
· Driver and Passenger Windows must roll up and down.
NOSTALGIA STREET
(1977 AND OLDER)
Nostalgia Street is based off of Plates and 28’s, and has the same general requirements are Retro Street but with a few exceptions. Nostalgia Street is limited to vehicles produced prior to 1978. This class is intended to bring the spirit of the 1970’s and 60’s Street Scene back to the track with entries limited to NA, Roots Blowers -OR- Nitrous Oxide power adders ONLY. Turbos and Pro Chargers are prohibited.
· Fender Exit exhaust prohibited. All entries must have a functional exhaust system installed traditionally under the car with mufflers. Exhaust must terminate within 12” of the rear axle unless it has tail pipes.
· Entries are allowed up to 2 stages of Nitrous. Nitrous controller permitted.
· Maximum Blower size 8-71 No billet blowers Street Style ONLY (B&M style)
· Race Gas, E85, or Pump Gas ONLY. No M**hanol. Stand Alone fuel systems allowed for Nitrous
· Electronic Fuel Injection PROHIBITED
· Stock style front and stock bolt on rear suspension or ladder bars ONLY
MODERN STREET
Modern Street is a class intended for late model muscle cars and trucks with or without power adders, that maintain their full interior and retain modern options such as Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, ect. Entries into this class must maintain their original O/D automatic or manual Transmission. Minimum Weight for entries to this class is 3500lbs. Each competitor will be required to cross the scales after each round of competition regardless who’s win light comes on.
· Open to 2005 and newer model year cars and trucks.
· AWD ALLOWED
· Full interior required with stock dash, door panels, carpet, and roll up windows. Rear seat delete ok.
· Lightweight aftermarket steering columns prohibited
· Functional AC, Heat, Wipers, head, tail, turn signals and brake lights.
· 15” wheel conversions allowed
· Must use drag radial or slick
· Mandatory Cruise
DAILY STREET STEPPAZ!
This class is intended for any true daily drivable street cars regardless of year, make, or model. Everything from a carbureted Big Block ’69 Camaro, to a Super Charged Coyote Mustang is likely to show up in this class. But they will all share one thing in common. Every car in this class will have to launch the car by dumping the clutch, or foot braking with an automatic. No Trans Brakes are allowed!
· Max Tire size for 15” rim 275/60/15 17” or larger unlimited
· AWD allowed
· Tires must be DOT approved Drag Radials
· Pump Gas or E85 ONLY for primary fuel source.
· Stand-alone fuel systems for Nitrous allowed.
· Water M**h kits allowed
· All Steel, all Glass except for bolt on aftermarket fiber glass or composite hoods.
· Full Stock Interior Required. No race seats. Rear seat delete prohibited
· No fwd facing hood scoops
GEAR BANGERZ
This class is intended for street legal 2wd cars and trucks with stick shift transmissions and H pattern shifters. Cars entered in this class must have stock style suspension or ladder bars. No full tube chassis cars.
· No sequential shifters
· No V gate shifters
· No strain gauges
· 28/10.5 Non W or 275/60/15 max tire size.
· 17” and larger wheels unlimited tire size
· Must have stock firewall in stock location and stock floor pans
· Roll up windows mandatory
· Full Interior including stock dash, & door panels. Back seat delete ok. Race seats allowed.
Index Classes
The Index classes are open to any full bodied car. No Dragsters or open wheel chassis allowed. All index classes to be contested with a 5 tenths pro tree. Courtesy staging is encouraged, but NOT mandatory.
6.50 INDEX- Delay boxes and trans brakes are allowed, but timed electronic throttle stops are prohibited, and must be removed from the car before the car will be allowed to enter competition.
11.50 Index- No electronics allowed. Trans brakes ok.
13.00 Index- No electronics, foot brake only.
