Kayak, Canoe, rental on the Lower Great Miami River. In Cleves, convenient from I-275,I-74. Use Blue We rent canoes, and kayaks. It’s a great run for beginners.

On the Great Miami River, from I275 go North on SR 128 then East on Harrison Rd. We are at Blue Bell Beach right across the bridge on the left. We offer 2 trips the first one is our main trip and it’s a 5 mile run and all equipment is available to rent. Last trip of the day leaves at 2:00pm. Our 1st trip is a 5 mile run with a few easy class 1 rapids. Our 2nd trip is 10 miles and is for advanced

kayakers only. It is a kayak only trip and has 8 sets of class 3 rapids. Currently not available

Class 3- intermediate level
Rapids, eddies and moderately strong waves become harder to navigate. You can expect to be getting wet at this level. Performing maneuvers, and boat control, is key to running class 3 rapids. We shuttle our customers upstream 5 miles where you float back to our “pull out” and you walk to your vehicle. Your rental is good for all day and you must be off the river by 6:30.

🛶 IMPORTANT RIVER UPDATE — OUR SECTION OF THE GREAT MIAMI RIVER IS NOT AFFECTED

We’ve had several people reach out after seeing the news about the wastewater discharge into the Whitewater River in Indiana, so we want to clear up any confusion.

The wastewater discharge is entering the Whitewater River, which eventually flows into the Great Miami River 17 miles downstream from our location

Tippecanoe and Kayaks Too operates on the Great Miami River UPSTREAM from where the Whitewater River enters it. The confluence of the Whitewater and Great Miami rivers is approximately 17 miles downstream from the section of river our customers float.

Water flows downstream, meaning the affected Whitewater River water enters the Great Miami after our entire trip section.

Hamilton County Public Health’s advisory specifically recommends avoiding the Whitewater River and the Great Miami River SOUTH (downstream) of the confluence. The advisory does not include the section of the Great Miami River upstream where we operate.

✅ Our launch is upstream of the confluence
✅ Our entire kayak trip is upstream of the confluence
✅ Our take-out is upstream of the confluence
✅ The Whitewater River enters the Great Miami approximately 17 miles downstream from us

We take river conditions and the safety of our customers very seriously. We will continue monitoring information from local health and water-quality officials and will always put safety first.

Tippecanoe and Kayaks Too remains OPEN this weekend and Labor Day weekend, including Monday! 🛶☀️
