What does the future of running look like?

Last week, members of the Cleveland Marathon team attended SportsLand™️, hosted by our title sponsor, University Hospitals, to learn from leaders in sports medicine, performance science, technology, and athlete care.

From Dr. James Voos sharing the stage with Nick Chubb 🦇 to conversations around wearable technology, recovery, injury prevention, and specialized care for female athletes, one thing was clear: the future of sports is being built right here in Northeast Ohio.

Many of the experts featured at SportsLand are also members of the Cleveland Marathon’s Official Medical Team through UH Drusinsky Sports Medicine Institute, the same team that helps care for thousands of runners each race weekend.

We’re grateful to partner with an organization that continues to lead the way in innovation, research, and athlete health.
