PSA: Though all Replay Officials have High integrity.. primarily being Umpires themselves… RO’s do NOT know the result of the play on a Review, insuring UNBIASED & neutral decisions! 💯

Replay Review Live gives our Organizations the option to use either IVE or IJR. IVE- the Umpire makes a call, & Replay has to be 100% certain before overturning (And if you’re 99%, then too bad, 99/100 calls will have to remain INCORRECT to protect the 1/100 call from being ‘incorrectly changed’.
If you’re still following… that’s not something we’d recommend.
IJR- the Umpire makes a call, & Replay has to be 97-100% certain before overturning. Meaning some plays will be; “I may not be able to bet my life on it, but that call should be changed, because she was clearly out”

 ⭐️Why should a human, who only had one opportunity to see it real speed, who makes human errors, strongly influence a ruling being made, where we’re trying to be the most accurate & correct?
Wouldn’t it be more accurate & more neutral, Unbiased, & Fair, to have a Neutral party that does not know the outcome of the play, make the most accurate call, with no outside influences? ⭐️

In other words, if you had the option, would an Umpire have a better chance of being CORRECT doing it the “old-fashioned human way”, OR frame by frame with slowmo video

 Obviously we know the answer… so why should you use IVE & ultimately the Umpires inferior method of making a call, & allow it to influence the final Ruling so heavily?
