The Wolves and Lady Wolves hosted the Class II North Regional Tournament today, and it was a great one! Both teams battled through some early adversity and came away with a region championship, making 3 straight for the boys and back-to-back for the girls. The Wolves came away with a total score of 3,294 pins while the Lady Wolves racked up 2,918 pins on the day.
Three Cleveland Central bowlers earned All-Region honors, with Isabelle Wardlow (692) and Curtis Van Daley (813) both finishing 2nd overall, along with Emma Gong (552) finishing in a tie for 5th in the girls division! The Wolves and Lady Wolves both punched their ticket to the Class II State Championship, where the Lady Wolves look to defend last season’s title and the Wolves try to get over the hump after finishing as runner-up in 2024 and 2025.
We can’t say enough about how proud we are of these kids and hope that our community will continue to support them as they have! Special thanks to the Cleveland Park Commission for the assist with the bleachers used for today’s tournament. Delta BBQ & Catering graciously supplied ribs for the team, and Lenny’s Sub Shop, the Wolves Booster Club, and other donors who asked to remain anonymous helped make our hospitality room a success! The Harmony staff went above and beyond to make today’s tournament a success, and our volunteers Ms. Angela Tate and Mrs. Nikki McLemore are owed many thanks for holding down the fort with today’s scoring and manning and organizing the hospitality room for our visiting coaches. Without help from volunteers, we would not be able to do the things we do, and we absolutely appreciate everyone’s help!
