Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and join us rain or shine for one of Avon Lake's favorite family events—Big Trucks!

This FREE community event gives kids (and adults!) the opportunity to climb aboard, explore, and learn about the incredible vehicles and equipment that help keep our community running every day.

You'll have the chance to meet:
🚒 Avon Lake Fire Department
🚓 Avon Lake Police Department
🚔 County Sheriff vehicles
🚁 Medical transport aircraft
🚤 Emergency response vehicles
🚛 Avon Lake Public Works equipment
⚡ Utility company vehicles
❤️ Regional hospitals & County Health Department
👶 Avon Lake Early Childhood PTA
…and many more local agencies and organizations!

🍔 Come hungry! Food will be available for purchase from:

Complete the Big Trucks Passport!
Pick up your passport at the DJ booth, collect stamps from participating vendors inside the fire station garage, and once it's full, return it to the DJ booth to receive a food truck coupon for children 18 and under! (Valid September 19 only, while supplies last.)

🚌 Parking Information
Parking is not available at the Avon Lake Safety Center. Free parking is available at Towne Center (center section near the former Tops building), with complimentary shuttle service provided by Sprenger Towne Center. Assistance will also be available for those crossing Walker Road on foot.

K4 Sports / Avon Lake Mini & Youth Cheerleading Camp for ages 3-10 is going on this week! Our September session begins Tuesday September 8th and runs for 5 weeks. The fall session will include cheering at a Middle School football game and marching in the Avon Lake Homecoming parade on Saturday October 3rd
