THIS IS ONE MOMENT IN A MUCH BIGGER JOURNEY.

To every dancer who applied for the 2026 E. John Busser Ballet Scholarship: we want you to know how honored we were to see your work.

Behind every application was something we couldn’t fully see—the years of training, the early mornings and late rehearsals, the corrections, the sacrifices, the persistence, and the love of ballet that keeps bringing you back to the studio.

Those things matter.

Scholarships, auditions, acceptances, and disappointments will all become part of a dancer’s story. None of them, on their own, define the artist you are becoming.

Continue to train with purpose. Seek challenges. Listen deeply. Take risks. Protect your love of the art. And give yourself the time and space to become the dancer—and artist—you are capable of becoming.

For those pursuing a professional life in ballet, the road ahead will demand resilience as much as talent. Trust the work you are putting in now.

Please join us in recognizing and congratulating our 2026 Junior finalists Broolyn Ronn, Brooklyn from the US, Charlie Cable Charlie Cable from the US, Crawford Haupt from the US, and Kamilla Latifi, Kamilla Latifi from Italy.

Brooklyn is training at the Dance Conservatory of North Atlanta, Charlie is training at The Rock School of Dance, Crawford is training at the Cary Ballet Conservatory, and Kamilla is training at the Conservatory International de Anarella Sanchez, in Portugal.

We wish these young dance a year filled with growth and opportunity. ✨️✨️

Please join us in recognizing and congratulating our 2026 Rising Star finalists Grace Ramos, Grace Ramos from the US, Florence Hanks-Ruttyn, Florence Hanks-Ruttyn from Australia and Kya Massimino, Kya Massimino from the US.

Grace is training at ABT's JKO school in NYC, Florence is a training at Tanz Academy in Zurich, Switzerland, and Kya is training at the The Rock School of Dance in Philadelphia.

We wish these young ladies so much success in the upcoming year. 👏👏

Please join us in recognizing and congratulating our 2026 Senior finalists Ashlie Rohan, Ashlie Rohan, Cecilia Zintl. cecilia and Meagan Cameron, Meagan Cameron. All three young ladies are from the US.

Ashlie is a Trainee with The Joffrey Ballet (Chicago), and now a 2x recipient, Cecilia is a Trainee with Ballet West, and Meagan is with the KC Ballet Studio Company.

We wish them all well and so much success in the upcoming year. 👏👏

Join us in recognizing and congratulating our 2026 Platinum finalists Sara Garcia, Sara García from Spain and Hugo Tulipano, Hugo Tulipano from Uruguay.

Sara was a Trainee with The Washington Ballet and recently is starting with a new role (it's for her to announce 😉) and Hugo trained at the National Ballet Junior Company in Sodre. He is moving to Spain this fall to begin as a Trainee at the Nacho Duato Academy.

We wish both well in their new homes. 👏👏
