Each month, we will randomly pick a member to celebrate! This month from the afternoon crew, we have: ALLI BLACKBURN

▪How long have you been a member at D5, and what got you started?
About 5 years. I was looking for something that would challenge me and keep me motivated.

▪What is your favorite and least favorite movements we do?
My favorite movements are running, box push, and burpees! My least favorite? The bike. Somehow it always wins.

▪What do you like to do outside of the gym?
I enjoy being outdoors. I love running, kayaking, hiking, and exploring new places.

▪ Why do you choose Crossfit D5?
I love the community, and the coaches are awesome!

▪How long have you been a member at D5?
Member since the Lewisville years, so almost 12 years.

▪What is your favorite and least favorite movements we do?
I love power cleans and the Ski Erg. Least…there’s a few options but burpee broad jumps. I mean why?

▪What do you like to do outside of the gym?
Outside of the gym I’m hanging with my pups, trying local breweries out, spending time with friends.

▪ Why do you choose Crossfit D5?
I started CrossFit like everyone else I guess, just trying out something different to try and stay in shape. But it turned into so much more. I have friends that I would consider some of my best and a healthy lifestyle that I plan on maintaining as long as I can.

Each month, we will randomly pick a member to celebrate! This month from the morning crew, we have: BRANDY WING

▪What made you start doing Crossfit: I’ve been doing Crossfit for 5 years. I have tried many different things. I got coaxed into joining the Fleet Feet, running club many years ago to train for my first 5K then it progressed to a 10K and then half marathon training. I really hated running, but I made some really great friends along the way, and that really is what keeps us going sometimes. Then I started doing body pump at the Y and did that for a few years, but got bored with it. I was wanting to try CrossFit for many years before I actually did. I was always just intimidated by it, but so glad I finally got up the nerve!

▪What is your favorite and least favorite movements we do: Favorite is probably power cleans or deadlifts. Least favorite is - no shocker - bike or box jumps!

▪ What do you like to do outside of the gym: I love gardening.

▪ Why do you choose Crossfit D5?: I googled Crossfit in Clemmons and here we are!
