Why does a fixed blade have to pick a lane? Camp tool or defensive
blade, never both. The Dawn Warrior doesn't make you choose.
5.5" Hunter's Point in 1095 high carbon, Black Traction Coating to
kill glare, full tang, made in the USA. Comes with the sheath and a
TOPS keychain, no add-ons needed.
This is a working knife that happens to be ready for more. Link in bio
if you want one.

5.5" Hunter's Point in 1095 high carbon, long enough for real field work and shaped for pe*******on when it counts. Black Traction Coating kills glare and holds up in wet conditions. Full tang, made in the USA, with a rotating Kydex clip so you carry it the way that works for you. It ships with the sheath and a TOPS keychain, everything in the photos is what you get.

Bill was a good friend who had a passion for bringing people together through jumping, whether round canopy or skydiving. Former president of RCPT-USA. We will miss his laugh, his movie quotes, and his ability to see the best in every situation. Saying goodbye is tough.
That's the reason it's been so quiet around here; some things matter more than a posting schedule. Thank you to everyone who is still with us.

On the early hours of June 6th 1944, paratroopers and glider infantry from the 82nd and 101st Airborne divisions jumped into Normany hours ahead of the beach landings. This was the beginning of the liberation of Europe from N**i tyranny. These young men were willing to sacrifice everything for a place and people they have never met. Many of them never came home. Today we remember and honor them...
Many epic battles were fought over the next few days, weeks and months during the European Campain. All of them at great human cost.
The place where I stand today is where one of the most epic battles the 82nd Airborne has ever fought in its history. For 4 days light infantry airborne and glider units of the 82nd Airborne division fought against heavy mechanized, infantry and artillery units of the German army. When the battle to secure the bridge was over, more than 250 Americans had lost their lives.
If the 82nd had not held the bridge, the landings at Utah Beach would have most likely failed and thousands of Americans would have died trying to establish a beach head. The battle for La Fiere bridge will go down in history as "the bloodiest small unit struggle in the experience of American arms".
Tomorrow we will have the honor to jump at La Fiere bridge DZ to commemorate their sacrife and keep their memories alive.
Lest We Forget...

This week I'm shipping orders, packing my kit, and heading somewhere that means a lot to me.
On June 6, 1944, paratroopers jumped into Normandy. The first week of June RCPT will be there to honor them the way we know how, from the air.
The store will be paused for shipping June 3–18 while I'm traveling. If you want to get an order out before I leave, anything placed by 11:59 PM on June 2nd ships on time.
We'll be back June 19. Follow along, as I'll be posting from Normandy as it happens.
📦 Order by June 2nd for normal shipping.

Some days aren't about gear, products, or what's in your pocket.
Today is one of them.
I served in the Colombian Army. I've trained alongside US soldiers, jumped with veterans, and worked rescue operations with men and women who've seen things most people never will. I know what it means to depend on the person next to you.
Memorial Day isn't Veterans Day. It's not about celebrating service. It's about remembering the ones who didn't come home.
To the families carrying that (today and every day), we see you. To the brothers and sisters we lost along the way, we will never forget.

Drop point vs tanto. Two shapes that come up constantly in EDC conversations, and people have strong opinions about both.
Here's my honest take.
The drop point is the workhorse. If you carry one knife for everything (opening boxes, cutting rope, food prep on a camping trip, etc.), the drop point does all of it without complaint. There's a reason it's the most common EDC blade shape out there.
The tanto is the specialist. That reinforced tip is nearly indestructible. You can drive it into materials that would snap a drop point clean off. It's the right call if tip strength is your priority. It's the wrong call if versatility is.
