Congratulations to Pat Shriver on qualifying for the 2026 U.S. Women’s Senior Open! ⛳️👏

Pat earned her spot today and will be competing in the U.S. Women’s Senior Open this late August in Ann Arbor, Michigan marking an incredible fourth appearance in the championship.

Also qualifying were Susie Whaley, one of the most respected names in women’s golf, Sue Ginter, and Laurel Kean (not pictured). Laurel and Sue are both former tour players.

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate this outstanding accomplishment and wish Pat the very best as she prepares to compete on one of the biggest stages in senior women’s golf.

Tonight, our clubhouse was full of activity with live music from Pickin Rick, a game night and dinner for a neurodiverse group of adults, and PGA Junior League out on the course!

We love bringing our community together and creating a welcoming place for golfers, families, and friends of all ages. 💙

A special shoutout to Zoe and all of our PGA Junior League golfers for spending the evening on the course while the clubhouse was buzzing with fun!

Pat & Bill Shriver Compete in North Florida PGA Senior Match Play Championship ⛳️

Pat and Bill Shriver recently competed in the North Florida PGA Section Senior Match Play Championship. The event began with 38 players competing in an 18-hole qualifying round to advance to match play.

Bill shot 73 and Pat shot 74 to qualify, with Pat being the only woman in the field.

In match play, Bill faced John Mansfield of Clearwater Country Club, battling hard before falling on the 17th hole. Pat took on Aaron Russell of Sawgrass Country Club in Jacksonville in an exciting match that went 20 holes, ultimately ending on the 20th hole.

While both were eliminated from the championship, they represented Cove Cay with outstanding play and determination.
