A well deserved shoutout to Larry Mayol and Star Care Sports Rehabilitation & Performance Training for the role they’ve played in Pat Shriver’s continued success on the golf course.

Pat has trained with Larry for many years, building the core strength, stability and power that help her generate greater clubhead speed and distance. Combined with golf equipment properly fitted to her game, the results continue to show.

At the U.S. Senior Women’s Open, Pat ranked 28th in driving distance one day and 12th the other, out of a field of 120 players! 🔥

Larry brings decades of experience in sports rehabilitation and performance training, working with athletes at all levels, including professional athletes. His impressive background also includes serving as Head Athletic Trainer for the New York Mets.

Pat credits her longtime training with Larry as a major part of having the strength and clubhead speed needed to continue competing at this level.

What we see on the golf course starts with a whole lot of work behind the scenes. 👏⛳️ Thank you, Larry and Star Care, for being such an important part of Pat’s team!

A great opening round at the 2026 LPGA Professionals Championship! ⛳️

Pat Shriver fired a 2-under through her first 12 holes before finishing with a strong 74 in the Senior Division, where she is currently tied for 11th.

Pat was paired with Lisa Grimes, who finished with a 72, and longtime friend Karen Bennett, who carded a 76. They had a great time together throughout the round!

The PGA Junior League Birdie Squad has officially wrapped up an outstanding season!

Our junior golfers continued to grow their skills, build lasting friendships, and gain confidence every time they stepped onto the course. Their hard work and dedication paid off with a 5–2 record, and I couldn’t be prouder of the effort, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes they displayed all season long.

Congratulations to every member of the Birdie Squad on a fantastic year!

A special congratulations also goes out to our PGA Junior League All-Star Team, which has earned the opportunity to compete in the Regional Qualifier at Cabot Citrus Farms on August 22. We’re excited to represent our league and look forward to the challenge ahead.
