A time was definitely had today during our first official NextSTEPS Series featuring Antonio Hernandez and Madison Pineda Bender. These two beautiful artists shared their dance gifts with us followed by a special talk back session discussing college dance, career paths, community and finding your way in the professional dance world. We are so grateful! 💙💛

Announcing NextSTEPS ✨

At STEPS School of Dance one of our core values is fostering a lifelong love of dance. We decided that it was time to start an ongoing conversation with some of our teen students who may wish to pursue higher education or a career in dance. NextSTEPS aims to provide education about opportunities available to dancers whether they are in pursuit of a performing career on a concert stage, the commercial dance industry, Broadway, ballet, choreography or any of the other MANY avenues dance can lead them to! These workshops and talkback forums will be led by guest instructors who have a wealth of experience in the industry and the post-class discussions will be moderated by STEPS faculty.

Our first workshop in this series “College, Contemporary Dance and Building a Career” will be led by Madison Pineda Bender Madison Pineda Bender and Antonio Hernandez Antonio Hernandez . These two incredible artists are highly sought after dancers, choreographers and teachers in the Tampa Bay Area. Swipe to read more about them!

Dancers 13 and up are highly encouraged to attend this insightful workshop. Non-STEPS students are welcome!

We had our kickoff Faculty Meeting and we are ready to go!!! So excited to dance into another season with the most incredible team of dance teachers 💙💛

We had so much fun at our annual Open House event last Saturday. So many new faces at our Demo classes, many smiling returning students and lots of great merch, Dancewear and memories!!!
