Rotational power for baseball players. ⚾️
Power in baseball doesn't start with your arms it starts from the ground up. Every swing and every throw begins with your legs, transfers through your hips and core, and finishes through your upper body. If that chain is weak, you're leaving power on the table. That's why we don't just train muscles at USG we train movement. We teach athletes how to generate force and transfer it efficiently so they can hit harder, throw harder, and perform at a higher level.Train the movement. Unlock the power.
Drive. Accelerate. Fly.
The Shredmill helps athletes develop the mechanics and power needed to dominate every phase of the sprint from the first step to top speed.
Train speed with purpose.
Dreams don’t wait, and neither should you. The athletes who separate themselves from the pack are the ones who put in the work while others are standing still.
If you’re serious about becoming faster, stronger, and more explosive, now is the time to start. Train with purpose. Train with intensity. Train at USG.
Your future performance is built by what you do today. Sign up now and let’s get to work. ⚡💪🏾🏃🏾♂️

⚾️ Most baseball players spend hours working on their swing and throwing mechanics, but few spend enough time developing the explosive rotational power behind them.
Every exercise in this session is designed to mimic the same movements used when hitting and pitching.
Why?
Because baseball is a rotational sport.
The ability to transfer force from the ground, through the hips and core, and into the bat or baseball is what separates average athletes from elite performers.
These rotational drills help athletes:
✅ Generate more bat speed
✅ Increase throwing velocity
✅ Improve power production
✅ Develop a stronger core
✅ Transfer strength directly to sport performance
Don’t just train harder. Train specifically for your sport.
Follow for athlete development, speed training, strength training, and performance tips that actually transfer to competition.
⚡ Want to help your athlete get faster and more explosive?
Single-Leg Pogo Hops are a simple drill that can improve:
✅ Speed
✅ Quickness
✅ Balance
✅ Explosiveness
✅ Athleticism
This drill teaches athletes how to produce force quickly and get off the ground faster whether they’re sprinting, changing direction, jumping, or reacting in competition.
Key Points:
• Stay tall
• Keep one knee up
• Stay on the ball of your foot
• Spend as little time on the ground as possible
Try:
3 sets of 15-20 hops per leg before practice or speed work.
Remember: Faster athletes aren’t always stronger they’re often quicker at applying force and reacting off the ground.
Train smart. Move better. Get faster. ⚡
You can have great technique, but if your feet aren’t getting you into the right position, it’s hard to be consistent, generate power, or recover for the next shot. Good footwork means better balance, cleaner contact, quicker reactions, and more confidence on the court. The best players make the game look easy because they’re always moving efficiently and getting to the ball early. Work on your feet, and the rest of your game will thank you.
If your athlete is getting beat off the line, losing races to the ball, or struggling to create separation, the issue may not be speed it may be acceleration.
Acceleration is what happens in the first few steps, and those first few steps often determine the outcome of the play.
That’s why we train on the Shredmill.
By adding resistance, athletes learn to apply more force into the ground, improve their sprint mechanics, and develop the explosive power needed to get ahead faster.
Most athletes spend too much time playing their sport and not enough time developing the physical qualities that make them better at it.
Don’t wait until your athlete falls behind to focus on speed development.
Train it. Develop it. Improve it.
Because faster athletes create more opportunities.
