The strategy incorporates the philosophy that with all of these relating events occurring all over the Tampa Bay area throughout the year, the need has presented itself for a specialized retail environment that will accommodate the needs of this audience. Ye Olde Tortuga will serve the market populations in Pinellas County and nearby Tampa focusing on individuals and organizations affiliated with local festivals, as well as Krewes. There is an additional market located in Sarasota and other towns which in a similar radius that also has expressed a need for a shop of this caliber. In addition to the previously stated set markets, there is also the “transient” market, known as tourists.
