GRIT Basketball is headed to Kentucky with THREE teams, and we could not be more excited for this incredible opportunity.

I want to take a moment to thank every single person who donated, supported, shared, sponsored, and believed in our girls. Because of you, we are able to provide our GRIT athletes with a wonderful experience both on and off the court.

🏆GRIT Girls showed up this weekend!💪

We competed in 4 divisions:
🏀 Middle School
🏀 JV (2 teams)
🏀 Varsity

Across all four divisions, our girls played a total of 12 games and finished with an incredible 10-2 record! 🔥

One of those losses came because our two JV teams met each other in the championship game—which, honestly, was one of the highlights of the weekend! Watching GRIT battle GRIT for a title was an absolute blast and a testament to how much our players have grown.

Our Varsity division was loaded with tough competition, but our girls stayed true to who they are. They fought, adapted, and never backed down. They showed what GRIT is all about—perseverance, resilience, and heart. 💪

I’m incredibly proud of every player, coach, and family who continues to invest in this program. The wins are exciting, but watching these girls compete for each other and continue to grow is what makes this all worthwhile.

GRIT Middle School takes the 🏆 at the Jaguar 2026 Spring League!

Total team win—locked in, competing, and getting it done on both ends. Led by a dominant defensive performance from Emry Pitcock, who earned MVP honors 👏

Big-time contributions across the board from Emmy Brown, Emry Peebles, Mia Santana, Lucy King, Kennedy Jones, and Kendall Fischer—this was truly a complete team effort.

A special moment as Coach Santana was also honored by the league for making a difference in youth basketball development.
