Hokulele Paddling Club Marathon Canoe, Outrigger Canoe, and Dragon Boat Club from Houston, Texas

Hokulele Outrigger Canoe Club was founded in 2008 and offers instruction, training, and recreation to members of the Houston and Clearlake community in both outrigger and dragonboat paddling. The membership is made up of a diverse group of paddlers ranging from varied backgrounds such as investment professionals, pharmacists, nurses, teachers, physical therapists, IT professionals and many more. Members come to the team with varying athletic backgrounds, with some seeking to be competitive and others for a opportunity to increase fitness and meet new friends.

Special congratulations to the mixed crew for their hard work in placing 1st in their division in Dallas, as well as Teddy Gray and Elizabeth Olivares for making it to finals for their respective divisions at the Va’a worlds in Singapore!
