BIG NEWS! Our Pre-K class (ages 3-4) will begin on September 2nd! The Clayton Taekwondo Pre-K class introduces our youngest students to Taekwondo in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment.
This class will help students build confidence, coordination, and discipline, preparing them for our regular Taekwondo curriculum by age 5.
Classes are 30 minutes long and held twice a week. Lessons focus on basic Taekwondo techniques, balance, coordination, and the five tenets of Taekwondo through age-appropriate activities and games. Parents are encouraged to reinforce these character lessons at home as their child grows in courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit! Where Clayton’s Taekwondo Story Began:
Since 1997, Clayton Taekwondo has introduced generations of local families to Taekwondo. From our earliest classes in the Clayton Civitan Club and Clayton Town Hall to decades with Clayton Parks and Recreation and today’s classes at the Clayton Community Center we’ve remained committed to authentic instruction, strong character, and serving our community. When Clayton families want to experience Taekwondo rooted in tradition and connected to Clayton’s history, they come to Clayton Taekwondo. Taekwondo is a fighting art. We prepare for combat first and competition as an afterthought. That doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun and be silly along the way 🙂
