Lapping Memorial Park

Lapping Memorial Park Lapping Park is the largest community park located in Clarksville, IN. The park also has a reservable amphitheater and lodge for weddings or other events.

It is home to Wooded View Golf Course, a disc golf course, basketball court, amphitheater, Endris Lodge, 2 playgounds, 2 shelter houses, and miles of walking trails. Lapping Park is the largest community park located within the Town of Clarksville, Indiana. The park features two shelter houses, two playgrounds, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball court, basketball court, and miles of wooded walking trails.

The road going into Lapping Park is currently closed due to a large tree branch hanging down and blocking the roadway. Crews will be working to get it cleaned up as soon as possible.

Next Friday, Purdue Entomology will be at Lapping Park for *Insects in a New Light* — a free after-dark experience where visitors can watch nighttime insects gather at blacklight stations.
