Big week for Girls High School golfers! Tryouts are this week! They have been working hard this summer. Play well and have some fun!

Great opportunity for me to play in the Rocket Mortgage Classic Pro-Am yesterday! Detroit Golf Club was in great shape and renovations turned out awesome. Thanks Bob Krause for the hook up here and my team for playing so good. Some good names in the field this week so looks like it's going to be a great week.

I will say the one thing that I noticed and want to tell everyone is how hard these guys work. Most of the players, caddies, coaches, club reps were on site Monday early. For an event that starts Thursday and if you make the cut, go to Sunday. Long week and long hours. My take is that an accurate, but long player off the tee is going to win this week. Don't go in the rough or long fescue or you're adding 1-2 strokes.

PGA Junior League going strong here at Oakhurst with Matt Barton! This competitive, but fun program is a great way to learn the game.

So so cold yesterday (real feel of 32) but these kiddos hung in there. 1st PGA Practice for Team Respect. Check out these faces 😂 and how 🥶 they were. Dedicated golfers!

Congrats to brother/sister combo Brock and Waverly for taking down the Clarkston High School spring scramble event! Brock is a senior and made varsity in his final year and Waverly is one of the top players crushing on girls jv team.
