With the Member / Member behind us the crew has turned their sights to this weekends club championship and the Presidents Cup September 18,19 & 20.
Their work on Monday included an aggressive chemical spray on the fairways and a needle, tine punching of the greens, followed by a light top dressing of sand.
This process will keep the greens rolling smoothly.

What a beautiful day it was at Stillmeadow for the start of the Member / Member Championship.
The tradition of naming our flights after members that have passed but in their younger years played in this event. Many competed before some current members were even born.
Our teams consist of longtime friends, new friends, father & son, brothers, brothers in law and everything in between.

Zane fired up the new Stillmeadow Smoker for a test run ahead of this weekends Member / Member Championship and he didn’t disappoint! The wings were fantastic and we are looking forward to serving our Member / Member participants a fabulous CHAMPIONS dinner.
The menu will include:
Smoked prime rib
Smoked chicken quarters
Country-style green beans with pulled pork
Mashed potatoes
Salad
Cornbread
Southern-style banana pudding.
It’s sure to be a wonderful ending to a great weekend!
A special thank you to the participants in this year’s Naples Invitational who pulled together and donated this amazing smoker to Stillmeadow!

Club Cleanup & Team Update
Good morning,
Power was restored to the clubhouse yesterday evening, and we are back open today!
The golf course is wet, the debris field is huge, the range is closed, and carts are restricted to the paths—but we are open!
Brian and his crew began the massive cleanup yesterday, working between the showers, and they will continue over the next several days. You will see the piles of debris they are creating as you make your way around the club.
Zane was here early yesterday morning and was able to get all of our coolers loaded with ice, saving quite a bit of product. Once the power was restored, he and Billy worked well into the night reorganizing the coolers and freezers, cleaning everything out, and taking care of everything we lost.
Morgan came over yesterday evening and closed all of the open checks, along with taking care of everything else that had been essentially frozen in time since the power went out.
And then there’s Vickie! Taking advantage of having no one around, she took it upon herself to remove the hornets’ nest in front of the main entrance. After receiving a ridiculous quote to have it professionally removed, she ordered a suit from Amazon and took care of it herself yesterday!
We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but I wanted all of you to know about the often-unseen efforts and contributions our team makes. These are the people who step up when things get difficult, and for that, we should all be very proud and thankful.
A huge thank you to Brian, Robert, Barney, Zane, Billy, Morgan, Matt, Vickie, and everyone else who has helped us get through this.
We’ll continue working hard to get everything back in shape.
See you soon!

The club lost power yesterday afternoon at 3:54 PM, and as of 7:00 AM Wednesday, power has not yet been restored.
The golf course is currently closed due to heavy rain, with tree branches and debris scattered throughout the property. We will assess the course conditions later this morning and provide an update on its status.
We will also provide an update on the clubhouse as soon as power is restored.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
