Happen’s Annual Teen Garden Flower Sale is this Saturday!
The Happen teens have spent the summer growing flowers from seed and caring for them just for this special day. Now it’s time to bring them to you!
Saturday, August 29
11 a.m. - 3 p.m. or while supplies last
Their beautiful bouquets are $8 + tax, and every dollar of the flower sale goes directly to the Happen teens.
The teens will start cutting flowers at 7:30 a.m., then head to the Happen Studio to learn how to turn their flowers into beautiful bouquets for the sale at 11 a.m!
But that’s not all!
The Happen Teen Breadwinners will also launch their newest Northside T-shirt, the Northside Native Flower Shirt. The flowers featured in the design were researched by the teens, the artwork was hand drawn by them, and the shirts were also printed by Happen teens.
Shirts are $15 + tax, and all proceeds go directly to the teens. Supplies are limited, so if you want one, come early!

Three FREE Halloween events are coming to Happen Outside Garden!

Create your own jack-o’-lantern at the Happen Pumpkin Party on Saturday, October 17, from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.

Dance like a monster at the Monster Mash Dance on Saturday, October 24, from 6:30 - 8 p.m.

Then join us for Happen’s Non-Scary Halloween Walk on Saturday, October 31, from 2 - 4 p.m. Designed especially for children 7 and under. No scary faces, no tricks, just lots of treats and fun!

All three events are free for families with children 12 and under. No reservations are needed. Supplies are available while they last.

Happen's Watermelon Blast is this Saturday, August 8, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Happen Outside, 1617 Hoffner Street!
Enjoy free watermelon, a watermelon eating contest, melon rolling races, watermelon helmet making, and more. We'll have 100 watermelons, so come hungry!
Free for families with children ages 12 and under. No reservations needed. Bring a blanket and join us while supplies last.

You're Invited to Happen's Flower Garden Ribbon Cutting!
After months of hard work and an incredible community effort, we're excited to celebrate the reopening of Happen's Flower Garden!
Join us on Saturday, July 18 at 10:00 a.m. for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1618 Chase Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45223.
This beautiful transformation was made possible through the support of Deeper Roots Coffee's Community Giveback Program, which helped raise funds for the project. We'll also be celebrating the many volunteers and partners who made this garden bloom.

Happen’s SPLASH DANCE!
It’s like dancing in the rain with water games, music, and summer fun.
Join us right after the Northside Fourth of July Parade on Saturday, July 4 from 1:30–3:30 PM at Happen’s Outside Space, 1617 Hoffner Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45223.
This is a free event with hot dogs, treats, and of course plenty of water to keep everyone cool and having fun.

Reminder!
Happen's Open Studio will be closed this week as we set up and add the finishing touches on our very first Happen's Tiny Northside Fourth of July Parade!

If you're waiting to pick up your ceramic creations, don't worry! They'll be ready for pickup beginning next week.
Instead, we hope you'll join us for one of Happen's most creative community events yet!

Happen's Tiny Northside Fourth of July Parade
Thursday, July 2
6:00 p.m.

Kids, families, and businesses have transformed N.Y.P.D. Pizza Northside hoagie boxes into amazing miniature parade floats. Watch them travel through a miniature parade diorama of Hamilton Avenue inside Happen's studio, complete with tiny storefronts and a moving conveyor belt that brings the parade to life.
After the parade, all of the floats will remain on display in Happen's front windows for a week-long interactive art installation, where everyone is invited to stop by, admire the creativity, and vote for their favorite float.
We can't wait to share this one-of-a-kind Northside tradition with you. We hope to see you Thursday July 2 at 6:00 p.m.!
