September and October Courses – Updated Availability 🗓️💜

We have updated availability for our September and October 4-week courses! If you have been planning to join, we would love to have you.

A gentle heads up: courses will need to be at least half full by Sunday in order to remain on the schedule. We want to make sure we are offering classes that work for everyone, and we appreciate your help in making that happen.

Did you know that when we opened, we were female only?

Then one day, a name that is predominately assigned to males popped up on one of our Intro to Pole Dance class lists. It stopped me in my tracks because we had "female only" all over our website. I was left with two decisions.

1. Call this person, refund their money, and remove them from the class.
2. Stop and question why we were female only.

I went with option 2 and realized the only reason we were female only was because the studio I learned and taught at for years at in Phoenix was female only. No other reason than that.

Once I made that connection, I also realized I had no desire to police other people's bodies. I decided to remove everything from the website that said female only and make our slogan "Pole Dance Is for Every Body." That means every gender. Every size. Every age, as long as they can legally sign their own waiver.

We have spent the last almost 4 years working as hard as possible to make pole dance as accessible as possible. That means listening to feedback about the way we teach and learning from mistakes we make.

We are so proud of the community we have built and the work we continue to do. 💜

We have some exciting news! Foxy Floor Tricks is now Foxy Floorwork.

Ambrosia came to us recently and shared that the old name and description didn't quite capture what the class has morphed into. And she was right. The class has grown and evolved, and it deserves a name that matches.

Here is the new description:

This class is for students who have taken Pole Fun-damentals 1 or have comparable experience. It focuses on creative floor-based movement both on and off the pole, helping you expand your dance skills with floorwork elements like shoulder rolls, shoulder stands, body waves, legwork, and playful transitions. This is strictly a floor class with no climbing or inversions.

The best part? Ambrosia now gets to teach pole stands since the content can be both on and off the pole.

Tonight is the night! Stage Ready kicks off and we are so excited we can barely contain ourselves.

We gifted everyone personalized journals so they can track their pole journey, plus complete packets to help them plan their choreography. Every single detail is ready for them.

We waited until the class started to share this so we wouldn't spoil the surprise for the students.

Our September courses are filling up, but they don't start until the week of September 13th due to Labor Day. You still have time to grab your spot.

New Fun-damentals 3 Course
We added another Fun-damentals 3 course on Sundays at 1 PM for our current Sunday Fun-damentals 2 students (who will be graduating soon!). The dates are slightly different since it starts a week later and will have no classes the week of October 4th due to Bengals games taking over the parking around us.
