π£π REEL N DEAL BAIT AND TACKLE β FINAL EVENT RECAP ππ£
What a weekend it was for the Reel N Deal Bait and Tackle Bank Anglers Only Length Tournament!
From the first fish submitted Friday evening to the final results Sunday night, anglers battled it out across public inland waters throughout Ohio, chasing the longest possible combination of catfish and carp.
With a $25 entry fee, length-based scoring, and anglers competing strictly from the bank, this event came down to finding quality fish and putting together the best five-fish total possible.
π₯ DAY 1
The tournament opened with Brian Poling jumping out to an early lead with 94.75 inches, including the first Big Fish lead at 33.75 inches.
William Seagraves held second at 24.25 inches, while Colton Cosgrove sat in third with 21.25 inches. But there was still a LOT of fishing left.
π₯ DAY 2
By the second day, the leaderboard had changed dramatically.
Brian Poling continued to dominate, building his total to an impressive 159.25 inches.
Right behind him came Colton Cosgrove with 133.25 inches, while Benjamin Allen made a huge move into third with 130.75 inches.
William Seagraves remained in the hunt at 24.25 inches.
And the Big Fish race was getting serious, with Benjamin Allen putting a 36.75-inch flathead catfish on the board to take over the Big Fish lead.
