Wk. 2 HS Game Of The Week. Roger Bacon vs Western Hills. The game started fast and favorable for Western Hills, jumping out to a 14 to 0 lead against the Spartans. The ball was bouncing the Mustangs way. The fake punt TD early in the game really set the tone. We all was shocked at the play early in the game, but with a couple some what bad calls, that's all it took for The Roger Bacon Spartans needed to unleash # 12 Freshman Eric Cody, RB & DB. This kid took over, the offense went through him and Western Hills Offense stayed away from him. The Spartans QB only a Freshman also, played good he completed alot of good passes, but when it all failed give the ball to # 12. With there O-Line & Dept they just wore down the Mustangs & they didn't score again till the end of the 4th quarter, but the Spartans ran off 41 straight points. Western Hills (0-2) & Spartans (1-1)
