Midwest Mountain Guides is an Outdoor Adventure Company that specializes in Rock Climbing and Professional Instruction in Wisconsin & Minnesota. MMG is committed to building and supporting a diverse community of climbers, guides, and instructors. We strive to make our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion foundational to our climbing community. We provide comprehensive courses for recreational climbers to learn safety standards and preferred practices including technical systems and environmental/social responsibility across a variety of climbing disciplines. Course offerings range from custom guided climbing, anchor workshops, sport climbing, intro to trad climbing, and ice climbing. Though most of the courses we offer are in Interstate Park located in St. Croix Falls, WI & Taylors Falls, MN, we also instruct courses in Devils Lake State Park and Tettegouche State Park, Silver Bay, Minnesota. We focus on providing a fun, safe and personalized educational experience for all of our clients. What separates us from other guide/adventure companies is the owner; Al Wiberg is a Course Provider/Trainer for the Professional Climbing Instructor Association (PCIA). This allows our company to stay at the forefront of safe climbing instruction and best practices in the climbing industry.
