🐾 WEEK 4 MVCs! 🐾

We’re excited to recognize four girls who stood out and represented their teams with confidence, positivity, and plenty of cheer!

🧡 Tiny Mites – Mayve

Mayve is silly, bubbly, tiny and mighty! Her confidence has grown so much this season. She isn’t afraid to ask for help or tell me when something feels tricky. I gave her a new job handing out pom-poms during our dance, and she absolutely thrived!

🧡 Mighty Mites – Eilani

Eilani is funny, kind and full of spirit. She definitely puts the “cheer” in cheerleader!

🧡 Minors – Kalaya

Kalaya has shown up to to practice eager to learn and with a positive attitude. Game time she was all smiles and putting her best foot forward for her team! Go Kalaya!

🧡 Majors – Clara

Clara embodies everything it takes to be a cheerleader! She always brings all the energy, all the smiles, and the spirited Bounce!! She’s ready to learn, ready to lead, and willing to be adaptable & adjust to fill any needs, her coaches ask for. Clara’s a very coachable athlete with a wonderful attitude!

CVYFAC sends our deepest sympathies to the Brice family during this heartbreaking time. 🧡

In honor of Branson our CVYFAC athletes will be joining CVHS in wearing orange ribbons in his memory.

Please continue to keep the Brice family in your thoughts and prayers. 🧡

🧡 For Branson. 🧡

Yesterday, our community lost Branson Brice after his courageous fight with leukemia. There really aren’t words big enough for a loss like this, or for the heartbreak his family and everyone who loves him is feeling.

For so many of our Cougar football players, Branson wasn’t just someone they knew. He was one of them. Many of these boys grew up playing youth sports alongside him... sharing fields, practices, sidelines, wins, losses, laughs, and memories.

This season, they carry a little piece of Branson onto the field with them.

The orange ribbons on our helmets are for him. 🧡

They are a reminder of a teammate, a friend, and a young man who was part of this football family long before these boys ever put on a high school jersey.

To the Brice family: we are with you. Our hearts are broken with yours. We are praying for you, loving you, and standing beside you through an unimaginable loss. Branson will not be forgotten, and his place in this community — and in this football family — will always remain.

💙 WEEK 4 | COUGAR VICTORIES! 🐾
What a weekend for our CVYFAC Cougars! All FOUR football teams took home a victory!
🏈 Tinys: Always on fire! 🔥
🏈 Mighty Mites vs. Williams: 44–13
🏈 Minors vs. Camp Verde Maroon: 25–0
🏈 Majors vs. Flagstaff: 61–6
Our cheerleaders put their hard work on full display with amazing halftime routines! You could see the dedication, practice, and effort they’ve been putting in shine through on the field. We are so proud of all our girls!
Having a solid team of coaches and athletes is what makes this organization so special. Thank you to everyone who puts in the time, effort, and heart to make it happen.

The Cougars are ready to bring it, and ALL FOUR TEAMS are back at HOME!
🏈 GAME DAY SCHEDULE
Tinys — 8:00 AM
Mightys VS Williams — 10:00 AM
Minors VS Camp Verde Maroon — 12:00 PM
Majors VS Flagstaff — 2:00 PM
Our cheerleaders will be there cheering LOUD & PROUD, with exciting halftime performances!
CHINO VALLEY, LET’S SUPPORT OUR YOUTH ATHLETES!
Come watch a game, cheer on these kids, and enjoy something delicious from our snack bar. We will also have Kona Ice on site serving up delicious treats!

🐾 Remi — Tiny Mites
From day one, Remi has been super bubbly! She loves asking questions and has the most expressive facial expressions. She loves being loud, being first, and making sure her personality is always known! 💙

🐾 Arialle — Minors
Arialle overcame her fears of being a flyer and did an outstanding job at Saturday’s game! 💙

🐾 Joanna — Majors
Joanna is a solid leader for our squad!! She is reliable in every way important to Cheer. Her knowledge of the chants, loud voice, and strong motions, help guide her peers at practice and games. Always ready to learn, work hard, help others & does it all, with a smile on her face! 💙

Way to go girls!! Keep bringing that Cougar Pride! ✨✨✨
