“It’s too late for me to start now.”
We hear this more than almost anything else. And the research says otherwise.
A study of over 315,000 adults found that people who started exercising between ages 40-61, after years of being inactive, saw a 35% lower risk of death from any cause compared to those who stayed inactive. Lower cardiovascular risk. Lower cancer risk. Real, measurable change, starting later than most people think is “allowed.”
One of our own members just lived this out. Cholesterol at 282 in February. Back in normal range at 184 by September. Not from anything extreme, just consistent sessions and showing up for herself.
