We’ve had some good practices at TBC and the momentum is building toward the start of our inaugural season. More than 30 girls have registered to play so far. There is still time to sign up and get on a team. Games start this Saturday. Season opening starts at 9:00am with the first game starting at 9:30am with the Division 2 Gold team taking on the Blue team. Continuing division 2 action at 10:15am is the Gold team taking on the Green team. Division 1 play starts at 11:00am with Blue playing Green then Blue playing Gold.

Come on out and support these young ladies in their inaugural AIM High Volleyball season!

Due to a death in the TBC church family and his upcoming funeral on Saturday, out of respect for that family we are cancelling all practices this Saturday. We will continue with practices the following Saturday.

Big Announcements

1. I have completed team assignments and will be notifying parents of those shortly.

2. Please, if you haven’t done it already, please download the GroupMe app onto your mobile device. That will be the primary means of communication for the league. If aren’t able to download the app please let me know as soon as possible. Request membership to the AIM High Volleyball group.

3. We still need a volunteer to run concessions. Contact me if you are interested.

4. Payments are due at this Saturday’s practices. $35 per player.

5. Team practices will begin this Saturday. Division 2 Team Blue will start at 9am. I will be following up on coaches this week. We still need a few.

The practice schedule will be

Division 2 Teams
9AM to 10AM - Team Blue
10AM to 11AM - Team Gold
11AM to 12PM- Team Green

Division 1 Teams
12PM to 1:30PM - Team Blue
1:30PM to 3PM - Team Gold
3PM to 4:30PM - Team Green

6. The season will begin Saturday January 28th. Opening ceremonies will kick off at 9 AM that morning. Pictures are encouraged. Each team will be introduced. There will be an opportunity for team pictures.

We will do match play each Saturday. So for week 1 the first Division 2 match will be a best of three game set between Team Blue and Team Gold at 9:30 AM. The second will be between Team Gold and Team Green at 10:00 AM.

Each game of each match for Division 2 will be won by the first team to reach 25 points or whichever team is ahead after 25 minutes.

Division 1 match play will start at 1pm each Saturday.

The regular season will run through February 25th with a Championship Day on March 4th to wrap up the season.

7. T-shirts will be ordered this week so I need your player’s shirt size. Please text that to me directly at 856-472-1553 this week.

Registration and evaluations today! Doors open at noon.

Any of the kids already registered can come in today for practice. I also need to collect the registration fees and talk to anyone wanting to or who thinks they might want to be a coach. We are going to need a minimum of 6. I’ll be at TBC until 4pm.

We are having a final volleyball registration push this Saturday from 12pm to 4pm. We need as many girls as we can get. For everyone that has already registered we will use this Saturday as a practice day. Ages 8 to 10 can practice from 1pm to 2:30pm. Ages 11 and up can practice from 2:30pm to 4:00pm.

Anyone who signed up or is interested in coaching please be there Saturday so you can start helping the girls practice. I would also like to begin forming the teams so I will need help with that. If we can meet at 4:00pm after registration and evals we can begin that process. Unless you completely trust me to make the teams my self!

We will continue to accept registrations all the way through the first week of match play. I’m hoping to get games started by January 21st or 28th.

We may just have two divisions (8 to 11, and 12 to 18). If we get a good turnout we can get enough for three teams per division. Everyone bring at least one friend!
