Last weekend .scott had on the podcast to talk about the upcoming 2026 .io event and the release of the book ‘Off the Map’.

They talk about this year’s exciting changes to the CIO event and what spectators can look forward to from specific new cars to different activites people can get into themselves.

They cover the OTM book, it’s stunning photos, details about the people involved and how book captures Chicago’s greatly unique car culture.

They also discuss popularity/criticism as well as some of their other interests such as music as well as their personal background and educational influences on what they’re doing today.

Back in mid May the crew went down to San Antonio Texas for the .united 2026 Nationals Competition. Each of our lifters went down and either set PR’s, competed in the biggest meet of their lifting career thus far, set PR’s on lifts or totals or hit a dot number they’ve never hit before. Seeing all of the coaches and lifters come together to make this happen and come out successful was amazing to witness.

crushed it after a last min injury before the meet Brian still went down and switched to bench only. Benched 369lbs and set a new Illinois bench record. Heart of a lion. Coach: .jones

had a meet goal of
getting her 400 DOTS milestone, hit 401 and set a meet total PR! Coach: .jones

did his first meet in the summer of 2025 at 57 years old after a more than challenging health history and qualified for nationals. He also got injured two weeks before the meet with some sciatica and stuck with the meet anyways. He went in and came just shy of his best total when he was healthy and had one of the best experiences of his life with his team by his side. Coach: .scott

also
qualified for PLU Nationals with only being a competitive powerlifter for an about a year. Went in with a nagging back issues during the intensity of prep but stayed consistent throughout the process. She went 3/3 on squats totaling a 5kg Meet Prep, on bench went 2/3 and deadlifts maintained a safe weight to secure a 3/3 and earn 3rd place in her weight class. Very strategic and smart planning as well as ex*****on there on her coaches side as well as her as a lifter
