Myles Pizza Pub was a big part of college for so many people in Bowling Green. Having them as a team sponsor was a big deal and today proved why it matters. Having the food again and dropping off team pins and stickers in person….seeing bits and pieces of the old Myles in a new place, talking to Chip and Meredith, was awesome. One thing about life, you can only ever move forward. But sometimes you’re reminded that home is where the Myles’ is and sometimes that’s what drives it all. A metric ton of cheese…. Wait no, I mean heart. It’s was keeps us going as a team, it’s what keeps Chip and his family making pizza, it’s something Bowling Green (and Greenville) does so well. It’s like the song says
“All you really need is heart
When the odds are sayin’ you’ll never win
That’s when the grin should start”

An afternoon in Greenville part 2. Sometimes you’re on your way back “home” and get sidetracked by another brewery. Oops. This time it’s Fireforge Crafted Beer more great beer, great outdoor space, and some cider too. Hard to complain about this.

Stopped into Yee-Haw Brewing Greenville while here, great spot on a hot day to try some new beer. The Kölsch is a real nice way to cool off. I’m thinking a future trip to Palmetto Curling Club is in order.

In Greenville for an hour, and already managed to find The Trappe Door underground Belgian bar and their Sucker Punch Sucker•
Strawberry Infused Jeppson's Malört , Velvet Falernum, Contreau, Cherry and Angostura Bitters, Lemon and Lemon Pepper Syrup. And followed it with a last word.

Oh yeah, heading down to Greenville to visit Myles Pizza Pub and it’s long overdue.

BBQueer is back, August 8 from 12:30–2:30 PM at Fairwood Park! 🌈

Our annual back-to-school gathering brings youth together for Qummunity, connection, and support as they prepare for a new school year. We’re looking for community members and partners who want to help make sure youth have the supplies they need to feel prepared and supported.

We are currently accepting in-kind donations of school supplies, including:
🎒 Book bags (for example, Jansport or similar brands)
📓 Notebooks and 3-ring binders
✏️ Pencil cases, writing supplies, and sharpeners
🖍️ Colored pencils and markers
📌 Glue sticks, highlighters, index cards, and other classroom essentials
