Autoland Door Car Challenge

Good morning everyone. Wanted to follow up on our event a month ago. I firstly want to thank everyone who joined us for the first iteration of the $50,000 Door Car Challenge. I secondly want to thank Autoland Outlets and BJ Bryant J Vangsness for all their help and support in executing this event. There were so many cool moments shared and momentum that we can forward to our 2027 event.
Those of you who were interested in our potential race in Earlville, I am sad to report that given some personal and business obligations, we will not be able to have that race. Those of you who are still interested in racing in Earlville on the weekend of July 17th, Tri-State Raceway is going to put on a bracket race for which I believe they have released the flyer or will very soon.
A quick note on the 2nd annual $50,000 Autoland Door Car Challenge in 2027. If you raced with us a month ago you will decide who races with us in 2027. We have some work to do on how the details of this will work but the idea is to have the great group of people who raced with us this year get to decide who will be part of the race in 2027. We are eyeing the same weekend in May 2027. It is our intention as well to have a second all door car race in 2027 for which we will be working on a date and location for that as well.

McFarland Wins $50,000 Autoland Door Car Challenge at Byron Dragway The well-attended all-door-car bracket race saw a mix of local and out-of-state drivers find success over the course of the weekend.

Like a case of déjà vu, Nick Hastings of Shelby, Ohio successfully swept both $15,000 to win races, parking his car in the Winner’s Circle on Friday and again on Sunday at the Autoland Door Car Challenge at Byron Dragway.

Brian Folk of the illustrious Folk Race Cars team from nearby Durand, Illinois earned a runner-up finish and. $3,000 payout. Folk, a customer of Autoland Outlets, picked up a $250 bonus as part of the Autoland Outlets Big Money Bracket Racing Contingency Program.

Randy Weller weathered the “who’s-who” of door car bracket racing to bring home a runner-up finish in the $50,000 to win Autoland Door Car Challenge main event on Saturday night at Byron Dragway.

Weller earned a $7,500 payout for his accomplishments.

Randy McFarland was the $50,000 race winner.

The Autoland Door Car Challenge concludes Sunday with a $15,000 to win finale.
