Enso is a dojo, based in the heart of Chicago, focusing on Shotokan Karate for children and adults.
Established in 2002, Enso is a vibrant and diverse community of karate practitioners and families based in downtown Chicago. All week long, students of all ages and from all walks of life come to train and gain the benefits from traditional martial arts and its core values of discipline, respect, self-improvement, and self-control. As one of the largest martial arts schools in Chicago, Enso welcomes new students, experienced practitioners, and visitors.

Nationals 2026 is a wrap! As always, we are inspired by the hard work our athletes put in all season long, using the spirit of competition to push them to new heights. We're also especially proud of how they demonstrate respect and sportsmanship on the tatami, being humble in both victory and defeat. These are the values we aim to instill throughout our community, from our beginner athletes to our most decorated champions and from our coaches and referees to our parents and friends. Thank you to AAU Karate for organizing this fun, safe, and fair event.

What a great honor to represent our country on the world karate stage!
