18 -19th - The gym will be closed from 7:30(ish) AM to about 5:00PM on Saturday and Sunday for the CrossFit L2 seminar.
25th - Elijah EZ Muhammad liftheavyoftenasineveryday will be coaching an Olympic weightlifting session and is open to the public! (Free, but suggested donation!)

As always, make sure to properly hydrate - but especially before coming to classes this week! Here are some other tips to keep you cool as the heat wave comes through:
1) Wear light, breathable clothes
2) Early morning or late evening classes will be cooler than mid day
3) Drink plenty of fluids/electrolytes BEFORE, DURING and AFTER
4) Know the symptoms of heat stress (nausea, dizziness, headache, chilling, extremely out of breath, reduction in sweat)

Gio Llinas Gio 🙃 is HEADED TO THE València Gay Games 2026 in Spain!
If you don’t know about Gio - he’s been:
▫️Playing for about 20 years
▫️Played for the Puerto Rican National Team for about 6 years
▫️NCAA (graduated from Lewis University)
▫️Played in the Liga de Voleibol Superior Masculina in Puerto Rico professionally (Outside hitter)
