Training in the heat puts extra stress on your body, but it can also make you a stronger runner when cooler race-day conditions arrive. The key is training smart, not just tough.

A few reminders:
💧 Hydrate before, during, and after your run
🧂 Replace electrolytes on longer efforts
🌅 Run early or later in the day when possible
🐢 Slow your pace and run by effort...not by your watch (yes, you may need to ignore Strava numbers!)
👂 Listen to your body. Heat exhaustion isn't a badge of honor
