The kids dance class the North Side doesn’t have.

Junior Ballroom Latin starts September 1 at Dance Center Chicago. Ages 6 to 9 and 10 to 14 learn real Rumba and Cha Cha, the dances you see on Dancing with the Stars, taught by instructors who train competitors.

One hour a week, Tuesdays at 4:30. No experience or partner needed. Every dancer performs in our December showcase, and kids who catch the competition bug can train for the Windy City Open in spring.

Classes cap at 14 dancers and enrollment closes September 8. Link in bio to save your child’s spot.

These are the dances kids see on Dancing with the Stars, taught the real way. Students learn Rumba first, the foundation of all the Latin dances, then add Cha Cha as the season builds toward the stage.

Two classes, Tuesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. Ages 6 to 9 and ages 10 to 14. The season runs September 1 to December 8 and ends with our Winter Showcase on Sunday, December 13, where every dancer performs two numbers alongside our adult students and instructors.

Dancers who catch the bug can compete this spring at the Winter Open and the Windy City Open in solo events. No partner needed, no experience needed.

Our Latin Ballroom class covers Rumba, Cha Cha, and more. Taught step by step in a welcoming studio. Show up solo or bring a friend. Either way, you’ll leave dancing.

If you have been thinking about trying ballroom dance, Thursday nights are a great place to begin. And if you are already on the floor, our Intermediate class will take you further.

We’re excited to welcome Tiffany to the studio! She’ll be kicking things off with a special two-week Bachata series on Wednesday, May 20 and May 27, designed for advanced-level dancers ready to push their technique and style.

Class Options:

One class: $40
Both 7pm & 8pm classes: $70
7:00 PM – Sensual Bachata Body Movement
Focus on refining individual body movement while being introduced to sensual lead and follow techniques with a partner.

8:00 PM – Bachata Shines (Open Choreography)
Challenge yourself with higher-level styling combinations, detailed technique breakdowns, and the chance to develop your own unique style.
