Chicago’s “Legendary Father of Urban Jazz,” Joel Hall, leads our Fall Performance Workshop! This nine-week session features technique class and rehearsals for a piece to be performed at our November 21 Dances In the Hall showcase!

Joel is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director Emeritus of Joel Hall Dancers & Center and beloved member of the Chicago dance community. His own unique style known as Urban Jazz— is based in jazz and expresses a rich vocabulary embracing classical, modern, and street dance idioms.
