Oh the people we meet doing the things we love ❤️

🎶I'm tired. I know.
I'm scared sometimes. I know.
I'm lost in all the things I can't control. 🎶

Songwriting doesn't have a beginning middle and end. It has a bunch of beginnings. It has starts and stops. It has a moment where you walk away completely from a rhythm, lyrics, or notes and then come back. It becomes a collection of ideas that almost always started with a feeling and then turns into something more.

This song is called 'Conversations with Myself' which is a metta Meditation song about giving yourself grace and reminding ourselves that we are well, we are loved, we are strong.

Will it sound exactly like this when I'm done? Maybe. Probably not.

If you love to listen to soft songs like these while you recover the body in restorative poses then I will see you on July 12 at Wilmette from 6:30-8.
