Reaching 250 years is an exceptionally rare & significant milestone for a country, as very few nations endure for two and a half centuries while continuously evolving. In commemoration of our Semiquincentennial, Roberts will be closed. We reopen Sunday July 6, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Roberts Cycle repairs all makes and models, from ebikes and scooters to road bikes, mountain bikes and adult trikes. We also work on wheelchairs and rollators (sit-down walkers). We fix wheel chair brakes and tubes. On Rolators we can do brake adjustments.

CDOT planner Riley O’Neil, 35, was killed in Bridgeport after being doored while riding his bike. Chicago police issued four citations to the driver at the scene, including unsafe opening of a vehicle door, driving on a suspended license, operating an uninsured vehicle, and prohibited parking. His job was to make the streets safe for cyclists and pedestrians. The event underscores the urgent need for protected bike lanes that physically separate cyclists from traffic and parked cars. Every Chicagoan deserves safe streets, whether traveling by bike, foot, transit, or car. Join the vigil for Riley O’Neil on June 8 at 7 PM at Palmisano Park, 2700 S. Halsted St.
