In-home personal training is a special privilege!

It has afforded me valuable experience and vast challenge. The requirements for each interaction and relationship are different, making program design unique.

For busy people, while I I advocate strongly for thier wellness, part of that package includes hobbies and social interactions. A lot of busy executives and professional people I educate about exercise partake in the sport of pickleball. This post is about enhancing enjoyment of the sport while helping to mitigate the risk of injury.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the USA. It is particularly popular for people aged 55 and older. With its growing participation rate has come a corresponding rise in pickleball related injuries.

The ivari fitness d***s and picks workout is a multi-planular sport specific suite of conditioning exercises, progressive shot patterns and drills aimed at enhancing participation, performance and enjoyment while helping to mitigate injury by elevating the aspects of mobility, stability (balance) and strength. The principles of acceleration, deceleration, power and agility are also addressed.

Pickleball can be competitive, yet provides a social element for most. The workout promotes and provides a comprehensive template of relative warm-up exercises while also accounting for
- physical limitations
- the importance of warming up
- using the appropriate equipment (particularly footwear)
- "form" consciousness
- hydration and nutrition
- rest and recovery
