Another Chicago Mission alum is headed to the NHL!

Congratulations to Victor Plante on being selected by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2nd Round (47th Overall) of the 2026 NHL Draft.

Victor has earned this opportunity through years of dedication, relentless work ethic, and a passion for the game. We couldn't be prouder to see him take this next step and join the rich tradition of Mission alumni reaching the NHL.

The Chicago Mission offers its deepest condolences to the family, friends, and former teammates of Elias Nikas following his passing.
