I recently learned that birds chirping tells our nervous system that it’s safe
This dates back to living in caves. When the birds were chirping, it meant there were no predators around and it was safe to leave the cave

Most of us spend more energy resisting our emotions than actually feeling them.
What we resist tends to persist
The next time you notice yourself feeling angry, anxious, overwhelmed, frustrated, sad, or triggered, pause and ask yourself these 4 questions:
1️⃣ Could I welcome this feeling?
Not because you like it, but because it’s already here. Stop fighting it for a moment.
2️⃣ Could I let this feeling go?
This isn’t a commitment. It’s simply asking if letting go is even possible.
3️⃣ Would I let it go?
This is where honesty matters. Sometimes we’re attached to our emotions because they feel familiar, protective, or justified.
4️⃣ When?
If you’re willing to let it go, why not now?
✨ Once you’ve answered the questions, don’t analyze. Don’t overthink. Just sit quietly for a few breaths and notice what shifts.
You may feel:
• lighter
• calmer
• more neutral
• less reactive
Or you may need to repeat the process several times.
Remember: letting go doesn’t mean suppressing your emotions. It means allowing them to move through you instead of setting up permanent residence.
Sometimes freedom isn’t found in figuring everything out.
Sometimes it’s found in finally releasing what you’ve been carrying around like an old pair of shoes
