A former DePaul University standout, Mariah brings over five years of coaching experience and a passion for developing athletes both on and off the court. She brings unmatched energy to every practice and is committed to building a team-first culture where athletes compete, grow, and thrive together.

🔥 16U Head Coach who led her team to an AAU National Championship Runner-Up finish
🥉 Head Coach who guided her high school program to its first-ever IHSA State Tournament appearance, finishing 3rd in the state

Mariah knows what it takes to compete at a high level and is dedicated to helping every athlete reach their full potential.

We’re excited to welcome Coach Sarah Paluch to our Cityside High School coaching staff! ❤️💙🏐

With 5+ years of coaching experience, Sarah has helped athletes compete and grow at a high level. Her coaching resume includes multiple top-three qualifier finishes, highlighted by a 2025 MEQ Championship in her first season as a head 15s coach.
But what stands out most is her passion for developing the whole athlete.

Sarah believes every player deserves to feel seen, supported, and challenged. She is committed to helping athletes reach their full potential while building confidence, resilience, and a love for the game that extends far beyond the volleyball court.

We can’t wait for our high school level athletes to learn from Coach Sarah this season.

With 20 years of coaching experience across middle school, high school, and club volleyball, Coach Kristy is passionate about developing athletes through strong fundamentals, teamwork, and leadership. She believes the greatest victories happen when players grow into confident leaders both on and off the court.

🔥 Coach Tess Rybowiak 
Originally from Southern California, Coach Tess brings over 15 years of club coaching experience, a High School Coach of the Year honor, multiple Junior Nationals appearances, an AAU National Championship, and a conference title in her first season as a head coach in Illinois. Her passion for player development and winning culture makes her an incredible addition to Cityside.

🔥 Coach Tee Pimsarn
Coach Tee brings more than 21 years of coaching experience and is widely recognized for his technical expertise and championship mindset. From developing elite setters to leading one of the biggest high school program turnarounds in the area, his commitment to skill development and athlete growth has produced success at every level.

We couldn’t be more excited to have these outstanding coaches join the Cityside family. Their experience, leadership, and passion for developing athletes will continue to elevate our high school program and provide our players with an incredible opportunity to grow.
